If you have the book pan you could make a scrapbook. If you have access to edible images, steal some of her pics and put them on the cake and maybe decorate to look like a scrapbook page. I'm am not sure if you work with fondant, but it is endless what you could do with cut outs and molds from fondant. You could also just make a closed book cake cut from a sheet cake, or even a stack of books depending on how much cake you need.

Hmmm, scrapbookers are big on scissors, ribbons/bows, and borders. As much as many people don't like sheet cakes, maybe you could do a sheet cake that looks like a scrapbook page - put in some edible image photographs, do a journal box using edible ink markers, make embossed fondant borders for the pictures and journal boxes. It could be really cute!

She is very close to my 5 year old daughter too. I will take pictures of my daughter helping with making the cake and then make that into a scrapbook page in the book pan!! I'll get those photos on frosting sheets and decorate the page with fondant ribbons and borders.

Thank you bethyboop and allie73 and carson!!!
You just made my day.

A scrapbook page with edible images and fondant pieces was exactly what I was thinking about. In fact, I should be downstairs working on my dad's scrapbook right now....if I could get myself off of CC!!
