I have lost contact with a lot of my female marine buddies and I don't have any more ideas but here:
I've been mailing out packages to our military fighting overseas and I have about 2-4 boxes that need to go to females only. I however have no one to mail them to since I lost contact with my former USMC buddies who are still in the service. IF anyone could pm me an address of some female who are helping us fight overseas I would (and so would my daughters school) truelly appreciate it! Thanks-melissa
How very thoughtful; I have a niece in Iraq and worry about her safety all the time.
She shipped out in Sept. and was there only about two weeks when a building close to them was bombed. They had to go into lock-down and we were on pins and needles waiting to hear from her. ![]()
Her husband has done two one year Iraq tours and they are talking about sending him again for a third time ![]()

contact the USO and tell them, and I can assure you they can get it to a female servicemember... thats how I did it last year... this year there is an adopt a soldier program through a radio station here... wil 92.3 st louis... they also have a website. Email the guy they call Cornbread and he can probably help too....
Stephanie, if you want your niece to recieve a box then just pm me the address. I'd be happy for the school to mail one out to her.
flayvurdfun, that's a good idea about the USO, I didn't even think about them being able to help me get some addresses.
Thanks!
Anyone else know a female overses in Iraq who could use a care package?
Do you have a MOMS organization in your town? Mothers of Miltary Service. They have a group who gets stores and people to donate needed but hard to obtain items by service people in the middle east and other area's. Then they all get together at one location, sort and pack the boxes for mailing. You don't know who your package will go to, but I know they pack separate boxes for females with items such as Tampax, deodorant, hair conditioner and shampoo in travel size bottles. Also small games such as playing cards,Yoyo's, even Jacks and Balls. They get pretty bored at times and it's fun for them to be a kid again for a few minutes.
Okay, check through the Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society. Also, individual bases (Quantico, Pendelton, Lejeune, Okinawa) will be able to help.
For those that are Army, check out the SDDC, Service Distribution and Deployment Command. www.sddc.army.mil/
