How do you use rice paper or wafer paper to transfer a image?

Hiya turtle and welcome to c.c.
You don't transfer the image, per se, You make the image on the rice paper or wafer paper with by drawing or painting or even using an edible image capable printer with edible inks, to make the image on the paper itself. Then you just place the image imprinted paper right onto the cake itself.

How about using an edible marker for that? Or are you in a time crunch? Obviously, it's not that it would poison anyone if you used a non-toxic crayon, but if it's for customers and not family I'd be hesitant. I don't think I would want to eat something that I had used crayons in ; )!
