I usually use antonias74 icing to outline and cover my cookies. I use it to write as well but I've never used it thicker than that. Can I use that recipe for items that need a lot of detail ie. a wreath, a flower? I realize that I would need to add more sugar but I just wanted to know if the antonias74 icing is used for flowers and such or do I need a more traditional royal icing recipe? I'm making a wreath shape on the front of my house shaped cookies for the holidays and I don't want to make the wreath and then have the details settle into just a round smooth circle of icing. I want the ridges from the icing tip to stay in there.

Please help!

Yes, it sure can! Just thicken in up like you said with more PS, and you'll be all set! icon_smile.gif
