Question For Those Who Use An Airbrush

im making a 3d optimus prime (transformers) in truck form, he is a base of blue with red flames on the hood and such. if i use a base of blue buttercream and used my air brush to do the flames in red and oranges will it show up dark enough over the blue?

They will show up as brown n brownish green if you paint over blue. Airbrush colors are transparent not opaque so you would see whatever is underneath.
And beings you are using blue buttercream n not spraying it blue you can't really mask it off either. hmmmmm. Thinking here..........what to do, what to do.
I'll get back with ya in a bit if I happen to come up with anything useful.
