It all depends on the teacher. All of the wilton courses are set up the same so it comes down to how well the teacher teaches and what type of experience they have decoarting.
I took my classes at a local hardware store that offers wilton classes b/c michaels and hoppy lobby were to far to drive. I had a great teacher and the owners carried more wilton stuff than the chain stores, and they also carried other non-wilton items which was a bonus.
