OK - I just HAVE to tell everyone about this. I usually use the Walmart brand veg shortening but ran out so I stopped by the IGA since it's much closer. I picked up a container of the IGA brand shortening and I can honestly say that it is the smoothest shortening I have ever used! I always make buttercream dream and I have never had it turn out so smooth and tastey. I just wanted to share this - if you have an IGA around you should definitely give it a shot! Its so smooth and soft!
