Is it just me or is today's recipe of the day appear mixed up? The name and note speak about grape jam, but the ingredients do not call for any. Also the cake calls for dredging the pecans etc in the jam, yet the recipe ingredients call for pumpkin pie filling and chocolat chips. Hmmmmmm.......................not sure I want to try this one

ha! I believe you are right about having a couple of reicpes mixed up...it says to mix the soda in with the Buttermilk and the recipe doesn't have Buttermilk listed but 2 tblsp of heavy cream; it also says to mix the 2 & 1/2 c flour but the recipe calls for 1 & 3/4 cups, and no where in the recipe do I see how much grape jam to use to fold in or the Kentucky whatever to use between the layers!
Hmmm...but, pumpkin bread with chocolate chips taste great!
