I Solved The Problem Of Bubbles In Ri!!!!

Hi Everyone!
I am really excited because I have always had problems with air bubbles in my RI. I decided to sift the powdered sugar (yes - it is a lot of work) and to my surprise, it worked! I think that air gets trapped next to the clumps of sugar that do not get fully disolved (even after beating) and bubbles form. I am only guessing about this - since I am not a scientist! I hope this helps all of you out there that have had a problem before. I am anticipating that it will work again for me (I am getting ready to make another batch so I guess I'll see). Just wanted to pass this tip along.
Best regards, Susan
I hate poking those bubbles with pins, so I found a new faster way to banish multiple bubbles at once. Sounds kind of wierd, but I pick up the iced cookie about an inch and a half off the counter surface and tap it down with a bit of force onto the counter. It causes most of the bubbles to come to the surface and pop. BE CAREFUL though, if you tap it too much, your outlines could crack!
This saves me a lot of time!
Just like Megamere, I smack my cookies on the tabletop too.
Makes the bubbles rise to the surface and it's threaputic to teach my RI who's boss.
