Ok I have an idea for a cookie. Has anyone made cookies from a cake mix and added a pudding mix. I want to get this figured out. I know you can make cookies from cake mixes. So I think this could be done. Or has it been done already?? I would REALLY appreciate any help on this one. I have my little wheel in my head turning (not a good thing) cause things tend to burn up icon_lol.gif

I don't see why you couldn't just add a package of pudding to a typical cake mix cookie recipe, with maybe a slight bit more liquid. After all, there are cake mixes with pudding in them, that you can use to make cookies.

A lot of my cookies start with a cake mix base. Any chocolate cookie I have starts with a choc fudge cake mix, and those are among my most popular. I dont' add pudding and they usually only take a Tbsp or 2 of water (plus the eggs and oil of course). I gathered the recipes from Pillsbury and Betty Crocker cookbooks (usually the smaller ones that are right by the checkout).

Here is an easy cookie recipe.

Easy Lemon Cookies

1 pkg Duncan Hines moist deluxe lemon cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup veg. oil
1 tsp grated lemon peel
Pecan halves for garnish on top.

Preheat oven 350 degrees
Combine cake mix, eggs, oil and lemon peel in large bowl. Stir well.Drop by rounded tsps 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press in the pecan half in the centre of cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool 1 min. on baking sheets and remove to wire rack to cool. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

There are tons of cookie recipes out there using cake mixes check the cake mix bibles for Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker just to name a few. Also they even have some on the web if you do a search.

Hope this helps

Fascination It was a limited for the holidays from Jello. I bought alot for the pumpkin cake I developed. I didn't want to run out. And the thought hit me icon_surprised.gif What about useing it to make some pumpkin cookies. So I needed an idea of how to go about doing so. And I will probably try the recipe you found as well. It sounds so YUMMY. I am sure my DD would love them.

Pampered Chef has a cookie recipe made from a cake mix, flour and butter. I believe it is either 2 or 4 cups flour and 1 pound of butter. I have it at home. They make very tasty cookies.
