I would really appreciate some advice... I gave a quote for $2 a cookie before I even designed them. And now that they're done, do you think they're worth $2 each? There's lustre dust and/or sanding sugar on them. I did spend a LOT of time on the darn things... not that a customer should care! But any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks!
LL

They are definately worth $2 a piece. No Doubt!! I would probably charge more than that next time. They have a lot of detail and they are absolutly beautiful. Great Job!

I hope your question is because you believe the $2. per cookie is TOO LOW!!! You did an amazing job, and should/can charge more.
I do similar cookies, and I charge at least $4. for the 5" cookies, and $3. - $3.50 for the 3" cookies.

I was in Marshall's or TJMaxx this past week, and they have 2 holiday cookies in a plastic puse like bag and they charge $3.99 for it, and it certainly isn't homemade!

Your work is very ver nice.

I apologize for going off topic but what is an Avatar? I'm still getting to know all the CC terms and acronyms etc.

Your cookies are easily $3-4, and I think that even is low. you should really consider the cost of the ingredients, PLUS the cost of your time to do them.

An avatar is the picture people have under their board name.

Wow, thanks everyone! This is so exciting to have affirmation that I'm at the level I'm always striving for - know what I mean? Ok, the more complicated ones I'll list for $3 and we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!

I think you way undercharged, but that is my opinion. Here is something from a catalog I always receive to help you realize that you undercharged.......these cookies below are three for $29.99.

http://www.delightfuldeliveries.com/eoneCommerce/Shop?DSP=30000&PCR=&IID=cr-210-p&keywordhistory=christmas%20cookie

Put them on a stick, put three into a basket, wrap in cellophane and walla $29.99. icon_wink.gif

I received a cookie catalog from a store in NYC.......each cookie is $6.00 and the cookies weren't that terrific looking. I have seen better looking cookies on this site. So, your price is very fair and great job!!
