I wanted to know how long royal icing decorations last. Can I freeze them? I would love to make a bunch of flowers when I have time and have them ready for a cake when I need them.
Thanks!

If kept in a nice plastic container you can keep them forever... once they harden up and they are kept in a cool dry place royal decorations are stable and keep really well. Just be sure to keep them covered (dust, light if they are darkly colored, etc...)

There are people I know that make flowers and stuff to have "just in case" -
