I used it on my buttercream(crusting). Must have a very light hand when doing it though so the buttercream is not disturbed. I used a really soft brush.

Just mix the dust with a clear extract (vanilla or lemon) gin, vodka or everclear until you have a nice paint consistency. Gives it a different look than dusting it on dry.
