Some of you may have read my disaster wedding cake I had a couple of weeks ago. In short in delivery it fell, I refunded the money.

I have Brides that want to order from me and now I don't know if I want to take more orders. I don't know how to explain it but I'm just afraid of something like that happening again.

Have any of you been through this?

It's kind of like when a horse bucks you off...you get back up, dust yourself off and get back on!!!

I know that a disaster ruins confidence, but until you try again, you'll never know.

Also, you can look at it as a learning experience. Personally, I would not transport a cake that was already stacked. Too many variables that could happen to it. I assemble at the venue.

Most of all, trust in yourself.

Best to you.

I agree with MnSnow it was a learning experience. Assemble at the venue. I didnt read your post about the cake falling, but whatever caused it to fall try not to repeat that.

Yes, trust in yourself. Take the orders, give yourself time and you will be ok. Good luck with your future wedding cakes.

Nothing beats a failure but a try!!
