Hi everyone. Been getting more and more into the CC website and have really relied on some of you folks the past day or two. Because of your help I was able to pull of a baby shower cake today and got a couple more orders out of it. But I need help, THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN! icon_biggrin.gif

How would you do this cake? All I know so far is that the cake is for a person who is making rank in the Air Force, to Major, and they want the Major insignia on the cake. I thought of a plane sheet cake and then just drawing the insignia, but then thought it would be REALLY cool to make the insignia 3D somehow, but not quite sure how? Any ideas? Here's the insignia...
Thanks in advance for all your ideas

molded chocolate, fondant (with 50% gumpaste - 50% mmf) You can brush on the gold color to give it that shine. What size are you going to make the insignia?

not sure what size yet. But maybe the size of a 7" cake? when you say molded chocolate, is that for something big like that? I've never worked with molded chocolate. Any tips?
thanks
