So my friend ask me to do her moms 60th birthday cakes. They are thinking they will invite 75-100 people so at first I was thinking 2 - 12 x 18,but now i'm just thinking of doing 3 11 x 15 since I already have that pan. I called 2 of the bakery around here just to get an idea on prices and sizes. One place was full sheet cake was 24 x 16 and 1/2 was 12 x 16 then another place was 1/2 was 13 x 18. Is there not a set size. What should I consider an 11 x 15? I think I can get 30 pieces from the 11 x 15. What are your thoughts

Thanks

I would say if you did the 11 x 15: you could get 35 2 x 2 inch pieces (single layer) or if you did a double layer I would say it would serve 50- 55 at 1x3 inch pieces. I dont know if there is a standard 1/4 sheet, 1/2 sheet etc. I hear a lot of different thoughts on that.
