I Think I Just Bought A Pan I Might Never Use

I went to a cake store and saw they had the over the hill pan for $3. I grabbed it thinking I can use it for other cake designs so I go to CC and do a couple of searches and I cannot find a cake that was done with this pan other than the regular over the hill. Did I just buy a pan that I would never use?

Hec for $3, I think it is a steal and you might end up using it sometime either by getting ideas here or an idea coming to you in your sleep--it has happened to me!

OR you can always sell it later on!

With a little tweaking I see - tombstone for Halloween; mounting for a stuffed head; the 10 Commandments; for sale or garage sale sign; pub sign; ghost; top hat; a shield; a pirate flag; a rocket ship; a house with a dome...

I did the same thing. I have not used the pan yet but I will use it even if it's for a giveaway cake.

Ah i know that feeling.
I think it's one you can use for other things.
I was looking for that pan not too long ago.

I've done that, too. When I first started decorating, I got sucked into ebay and bought several pans that I have yet to use. icon_redface.gif Oh well.

7yyrt, thanks a lot for the ideas. I'll print your post and tape it to the pan maybe someday I'll make one of those ideas. I really like the 10 Commandments idea.
