Whipped Cream Icing

has anyone tried the stablized whipped cream icing in the recipe section? or any of the others? can you decorate with it....at least get it smooth? I need a whipped cream like icing to replace cool whip icon_lol.gif but do NOT want to try icing a cake with cool whip! icon_confused.gif

How about Rich's Bettercreme or Pastry Pride, they're both so much more stable than whipping cream.

However, I've used the whipped cream frosting:

While it is heavenly, it does require refrigeration. Only made simple borders with it; does smooth pretty well.
