I dunno if any of you have noticed the same thing but, lately, I have noticed that some words are deleted when you post something. I have to go back and edit either spacing with the words or put into quotation marks. A lot of these words aren't bad or copyrighted but they still disappear when I post something.
Just wondering if any of ya'll have seen the same thing. It's weird and sometimes frustrating because your (the writers') intentions aren't clear.

are they gone or just a different color that makes them hard to see?

I've noticed that when words like piping gel, meringue powder or Colette Peter's is typed they appear in dark pink print. I assume because they are linked to the CC store as items that can be purchased from them.

I CAN ANSWER THIS!!! Ok, not to enjoy your pain or anything, but I thought I was the only one that ever happened to! I can fix it!! Give me one second to remember how I did it and I will post the instructions here. It's because of your settings! Hold on!!

Edited to add: It was SO annoying! You'd be reading and someone would say, "Oh, if you want to learn to do that, you just need to get the book by ' '." or "All you need to do is add some ' ' to it and it will work perfectly!" Where the single quotes are, there would be nothing, just a single space blank. It used to flame my fanny!! I wanted to know these secrets too! The way I figured it out was when I went to post a reply, if I scrolled down I could then see the word surrounded by the html code that made it a link. That's when I put two and two together. Thank Goodness!

Chaptlps: Are you using Norton Personal Firewall?

If so: In your IE browser window there should be a toolbar with a button that says 'Norton Personal Firewall'. Click on it and it should give you a drop down box. Click "Allow ads on this site". What's happening is that those words are turned into hyperlinks to the CC store. Your firewall sees that as an ad and bleeps it out. It was making me crazy until I figured it out! If you are using another firewall, I don't know if they will have a button in your toolbar, but you would essentially just go into your 'properties' and change it to allow ads on CC. That will not affect any other sites, and you can pretty much trust stuff here! HTH!! Let me know if this fixes your problem!
