I just made the mmf recipe and I don't know whether to refridgerate or leave out on my counter overnite sealed tightly. I will need to use it Friday what do I do ? Do I leave it in the fridge till then or out on my counter till then, Help! never worked with mmf before.. Thank you

I leave mine sitting on the counter wrapped tightly in plastic wrap. As long as it doesn't get exposed to air, it will be fine. My son thought he was helping me out and put 2 batches in the refrigerator. This made it very very hard and I had to throw it away. I dont' know what the "shelf life" is on mmf, but with just shortening, and powdered sugar as the ingredients I wouldn't think there would be a high spoilage risk. Does anyone know how long MMF can be stored as long as it is wrapped in airtight packaging?
