Help! I have a baby shower cake to do and need advice. The cake will be chocolate with a light blue buttercream frosting and chocolate corneli lace accents. The problem is filling. The mtb doesn't want fruit and the party giver wants a "luscious filling" Suggestions please. Thanks in advance

Lots of flavors come to mind,

nut flavors, black walnut etc
butter rum
champagne
coconut (with a rum wash, oh my!)
cream cheese or cheesecake flavor
I posted a caramel cream recipe on here last week--can't recall where but it's nearby somewhere...

Thanks all for the suggestions. I am wanting something that will go great with BC and have a good "mouth feel" the caramel and whipped ganache are the front runners with cookies n cream coming in close behind.

I just did this with a chocolate cake and my customers went nuts for it. I had some cake scraps and of course had to try some too.....oooohhh so good!

That does sound good but I have been unable to find the coffee creamer here icon_sad.gif. I may have to just go with a whipped ganache which is good too. Thanks to all for the help.
