Can it be done? I have a bunch that aren't dipped or rolled yet and I'd like to freeze them for Christmas. A good idea or not?

I freeze them before I dip them as it makes them easier to dip. I haven't frozen any after dipping but I think some people have. Hopefully someone that has will see your post and jump in.

I make a couple hundred of these little boogers a week and freeze all of them before dipping and they are just fine. HTH K'ly

I also freeze cakeballs and dip them as I need them. Some did crack, so I let them sit out a while before dipping, this seemed to remedy that problem. I dip before they thaw out fully.

Someone else asked this same question just recently and I wanted to share that I freeze them after they are dipped all the time. They come out just fine. I like to eat them straight out of the freezer when they are nice and cold. They don't freeze solid. I use buttercream frosting to bind mine together. Others might do it differently.
