Have you tried this? Did you like it? Do you think it would be good to add pecans to this & use as a filling for a white cake? I'm trying to think of something I can do quick for DH to take to a party. Thanks.

I don't remember where I got the recipe. Here's my modified version.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Filling

8 oz softened cream cheese
1-1/2 cups conf sugar
1/2 stick butter (4 T)
1/3 c cocoa - I used 1/4 c for light choc
2 T heavy cream or milk
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 cups whipped cream - I used Cool Whip

In large bowl, beat cream cheese & butter until smooth
Add sugar, cocoa, milk, vanilla - beat until fluffy

Fold whipped cream or cool whip into cream cheese mixture

toasted, chopped pecans opt.
