So...I really do not like the flavor of semi sweet choc chip frosting, and the milk chocolate chips just do not have a authentic milk chocolate taste to me, so I was wondering...has any used the unwrapped hersheys kisses you can get in the baking isle to make ganache or poured chocolate frosting? Do they melt down smooth enough to use this way?

I have never personally tried this... but I melt down hershey kisses all the time and it melts down fine. I dip cherries in hershey kisses to make the ever-popular christmas mice. Let us know how it turns out if you try it!
