Can someone please tell me how to make buttercream transfers? I need to put a photo on a cake for FRIDAY! without the use of a copycake! It doesn't have to be edible if it can be easily removed. Please help! Thanks!

Yes I don't understand this either. It seems as though they forgot a step in the directions. After you fill in the coloring, do you place a piece of wax paper on top of the coloring and turn over before smoothing down the back?? Also, if someone can explain step 8 better I would appreciate that too. I feel so stupid not understanding this, sorry.

I felt stupid too but I HAD to get it done and no one was answering! Once I started working thru the steps I had an Aha! on the whole thing.

For step 7 I had to grease my spatula otherwise it pulled all my work up. You literally just smooth down on what you just did, there is no step missing believ it or not. and then you put the white down or whatever color, I used white. then you stick it in the freezer like that.

You can see mine it my pics here is the link

I put my last coat on to thick but I was in a time crunch and went with it!

Hope that helps, really you just start doing it and it will come together for you!

Tasteebakes,
Thanks for that post. I'll trust you when you say it comes together when you are doing it. It seems like you are destroying it by smoothing it down. I don't know. I will see when I try it. Yours looks great.
