I do not know why you are trying to use a right click. A mouse for an apple does not have a right click. You just double click. Do you have a mouse for another type of computer? Please explain further. I have an IBook G4 and I have owned many Mac's and have never had a right click mouse.

I have only the touchpad and the one button, but I need to be able to right click. Like to copy and paste in word, on a pc you would right click, I can't. On my bf's Macbook you can double tap, I think, and it brings it up. Does any of this make sense? Thanks-Katie

If you have Appleworks on your computer, you would go up to Edit, then copy or paste. Click and hold the Edit. You do not have a right click on a Mac. You can use the touchpad to click or use a mac mouse and double click of click and hold. Even if you do not have Appleworks, just go to the top bar and click on Edit to copy or paste. Does this make sense?

On a MacBook, placing two fingers on the touch pad and pressing the button equals a right click.

I hope that it's the same on your iBook!

you can also use the "apple" key and the left and right square brackets ( up next to the "P" key) to copy and paste, much like you would with CTRL C and CTRL V on a PC.

All you have to do is hold the ctrl key when you hit the button and your options will magically appear! icon_smile.gif
