Some may not have. But I wanted to let you know my son and I are ok.

On 8/15/07, a drunk driver rear ended our mini van. The back of the van in now in the middle. The drunk driver blew a 1.4. My son only had minor scrapes and scratches and a bump on the head. I on the other hand had a disk removed from my spine, 2 disks fused together and a plate screwed into my spine. I am back at work as of yesterday and am doing fine. I go for more xrays on the 9th, so hopefully the bones will grow to the plate and I can get rid of the neck brace.

So that's what I have been doing? So how was everybody elses month? icon_lol.gif

glad to hear that you are both recovering ... hopefully the drunk driver was punished to the fullest extent, there is no excuse for drinking and driving! thumbsdown.gif

Thank heavens you're doing better and that your son wasn't seriously injured. It's so unfortunate that the actions of a drunk driver will affect you the rest of your life. I wish you the best!!

Patricia, your angels were looking out for you and your son. Wish someone would have given you a laptop while recouperatng so that you could have kept up with the goodies. Just think of all the looks you will be getting from now on when you go through metal dectectors at airports. LOL I bet the drunk idiot did not even get a scratch. I was hit from behind last year and I am still dealing with the pain in my neck from the jerking of the car. Not fun.
