I recently purchased a wilton doll cake mold. I wasn't sure how long it will take to baked. So I baked it at 350 deg for almost 30 minutes, but it was not done then i had to check it every 3-4 minutes. Atlast i ended up with a cake which was very dense and not fluffy.
Can anyone tell me how long to bake and what the suitable temp is for doll cake?

Here you go:

I have found that it takes mine closer to 45 min+ to bake but I use a doctored up cake mix recipe.

I can tell based on looking at my cakes about how much longer they need in the oven which helps me decrease the # of times I have to open the door which decreases your oven temp.

Hi Lisha,

I use a scatch cake mix and it takes over an hour at 350 degrees at a conventional setting however, if I use the convectional setting it only takes 45 minutes at 325 degrees. I always find this cake to be dense and have assumed it's because of the type of pan.

Hope this helps.
