After years of begging, I am now the owner of a KitchenAid Artisan. My mother bought me one for Christmas. I was torn between getting a mixer and an airbrush. I was looking on ebay and I came across a KA refurb and it was 150 and I figured I might as well. I'm hoping that Hobby Lobby puts 40% off coupons in the paper next week and I'll just buy my own airbrush. It'll be my xmas gift to myself. I got a tangerine mixer, so now everything is going to be orange. I'm already planning my kitchen and bath decor around my mixer!

There's a 40% off coupon for Hobby Lobby already online that you can print out. Gotta love the internet and not having to wait for Sunday!

I am so jealous I want a Kitchen Aid mixer to I'm still using a hand held it is awful but I love e-bay so maybe I'll be able to get one too. Let us know how the airbrush works out I've never used one but it looks like fun! Congratulations!! icon_biggrin.gif

Aren't moms the best? My mother bought me my first KitchenAid in 1964. That mixer lasted 30 years with no servicing, I gave it to my daughter and she is still using it. You are going to love this mixer and you will think of your mom each time you use it.
