I was shopping at Bulk Barn the other day, and they have this 4lb pail of fondant called VirginIce... anyone ever heard of it/used it? I've looked for satin ice and can't find it, but i was wondering if this VirginIce stuff tastes good and is easy to work with?
TIA! icon_biggrin.gif

Sorry but I have never heard of it. Is it a brand that is exclusively for sale in Canada?

i live in canada and although i really dislike the taste of fondant - i use the virgin ice when fondant is called for. it's not that bad actually - it has a soft texture, not too sweet and is relatively easy to use. it's around $14 for the 4lbs and it's nothing at all like the wilton stuff. YUK!!
just use a good thick tasty layer of buttercream underneath!
good luck.

I have tried it, It was OK but not great. The taste was not that nice, I bought it a few times before I discovered MMF... much better and cheaper.
good luck
