I'm making an idea for a teenage birthday. It's only going to feed 10-15 people, but I would love to do 2 tiers! Would that be way, way WAY too much cake? I am willing to do smaller pan sizes.

Does anyone have any ideas? It should be fairly simple--I would prefer to use MMF. If anyone has any pictures or advice, please share! Thank you.

Is it for a boy or girl? How old will they be? You could do an 8" for the bottom tier and a 6" or 4" for the top tier. I made my daughter a 2 tier cake (8" and 6") for her 20th B-day. It's the brown/teal striped cake in my photo's. She (and all of her friends) loved it. It easily fed 15 people! Do they have any special interests? I made a Phantom of the Opera cake for one of her friends that was a big hit, too!
I know that interests differ by just a year or two when they're teenagers!

How old? I did a Hello Kitty cake for a 15 year old. And then a two tier pink with flowers for and 8yr. You just need to know what they are into.

You can always use a cake dummy...
