I was just curious if there were a lot of people who still send Christmas cards in the mail. My family has been sending them for years and I was just wondering if it is still a tradition for other people too.

I'm still sending them and receiving them, although my list seems to get shorter every year.

Yes - I still mail out Christmas cards, and love displaying the ones I get around the house.

I do Christmas cards every year. I do the photo ones--I rotate each year with one of just the kids and one with all the family. I also am one of those obnoxious people that includes the family newsletter. But the majority of my cards go to family that we don't see often, so this is a good chance for them to see what has been going on throughout the year.

Missyek - I think that is a wonderful idea to include a newsletter. I think it's creative and it shows the pride you have in your family.

thumbs_up.gif To me, it would be sad to lose such a tradition.

I find joy in sending Christmas cards. It really helps put me int eh Christmas spirit. My husband and I also did the Christmas letter this year. It was more fun than I thought it would be.

It's also a nice feeling to receive a card from someone, though they are less and less.

It's nice to know that someone is thinking of you over the holidays.
