I just got off the phone with KopyKake and am so excited!!!!

I was informed by them that you can use used printers. You just have to do one of the following first; cleaning, test page or print out a copy of something first on a regular sheet of paper to make sure no ink is left.

She told me that they are telling people that can not afford or want to buy a new printer to purchase a used one and that there is no contamination problems.

Either Cannon or Epson can be used.

I just brought a gently used CX4800 off ebay yesterday to use for regular printing for $9.99 plus $20.00 for shipping and insurance. I got to wondering if I could switch over from my CX3810 that I brought new for edibles without worrying about contamination. I can even use the same cartridges from the CX3810...they are compatible icon_surprised.gif

I am doing my happy dance icon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gif So ladies and gents get shopping on ebay thumbs_up.gif

Oh hey, that is good news. I suppose if someone has the cleaning cartridges, they could use those first too. thumbs_up.gif For me, though, I think I will stick with new printers, but if there comes a point that I no longer have a choice, I will clean the heack out of a used one. icon_biggrin.gif
