I have some of the store bought jungle animal cookies to use for my son's birthday party and I wondered how you all thought I should decorate them. They come with a small packet of icing but that will probably be hard to work with. Should I cover all over or just try to outline the details? Thanks

I guess it really depends on 1) What kind of look you are going for and 2) what you are most comfortable working with.

If you don't need them to dry hard, buttercream is tasty and easy to work with.
I really like to use Alice's Cookie Icing (recipe is on this site). I usually let it dry overnight, and it crusts over on top, but is still soft to bite into.
If you want something more durable, I'd go with royal icing.
The MOST important part is that it's fun! Good luck!
