I made Royal Icing for piping on some flowers, I still have some left and want to continue them tomorrow can I leave the icing in the bag and out on the counter or do I need to refridgerate it?

I made it with Meringue mix (the type you just add water to it) so I'm assuming it was meringue powder in it.

I usually suggest that my students don't leave their Royal icing in the plastic bags. I have had some of it change consistancy over night when left in the bags.

It can be left out of the fridge. icon_smile.gif

Thanks, I will put it in a storage container now that I know it will be okay on the counter.
