I love Sam's Club icing!!! but i can't seem to get it a good stiff consistency to do roses!

I add powerder sugar and icing seems to get stiff...but it doesn't pipe roses nice and the icing sticks to the flower nail and scissors. I have a really hard time keeping the rose in one peice taking it off the nail and putting it on the cake.

Does anyone have this trouble too...is there a better way to do roses with Sam's Club icing b/c i don't want to have to whip up a batch of homemade icing just to do roses.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I havent used Sams clubs icing, but here might be a suggestion do you put a piece of wax or parchment paper on your nail when making the roses, i do then all you do is take the paper off the nail and i put into the freezer which makes them easier to handle, leave them about 20min then take out take off paper then put onto the cake Hope this helps
