I was wanting to buy a stand mixer but certainly cannot afford a KA and I was wondering if the sunbeam goes around like the KA and/or if the bowl rotates and if it only the bowl rotates does it do a good job or will I have to stop it 50 times to scrape down the sides. Sorry I know it sounds confusing but I'm sure you know what I'm asking lol

Funny enough last Christmas I received the Sunbeam and after one use I took it right back and paid the difference for the KA. On the Sunbeam the bowl rotates which only makes it easier to add ingredient because the bowl is not centered however, you still have to stop and scrape the sides ever few minutes. Also I tried baking cookies and the dough spun right up to the head of the mixer - it was kinda odd. In a nutshell I absolutely LOVE my KA and have no regrets - it was worth every penny. On the downside it's extremely heavy and the paint chipped off after 3 months. KA offered to replace it but only if I give it up for 6-8 weeks...NOT. Hope this helps.
