Okay, so my brothers wife wants a 3d rose cake. What!? I asked her if a rosebud would do, because I can see myself carving that from cake, but no, she wants an open rose.

Any ideas whatsoever on doing this? Or an alternative idea that would be just as nice that I can present to her?

It is not my cake it is a CCer cake...I posted about a cake and she sent this one, let me see if I can dig up who's it is..she was so sweet and totally told me how she made it. I am making a wedding cake somthing like this for 10/20...so....

ok, I am a total twit, sorry..I do not know how to post a forum thread but if you do a search...I started called"Have You Seen This Cake?"
by florimbio...there is another cake that is 3-d rose and the sweet ccer with instructions on the cake you liked
