How To Make Midnight Blue????

I need to make a midnight blue for a christmas cake and I have no idea about color combos for this....maybe navy blue with violet and then add black to darken??? Has anyone else ever made this color or similar one???? icon_confused.gif

I just made MMF with Americolor navy blue and a little bit of Wilton black.

Thank you!!!! That is the exact color I wanted to make. I have wilton navy blue and black so I guess I'll try that first and see what happens! icon_biggrin.gif

you can also get midnight blue luster dust...i used this to paint over blue fondant on the 40th birthday cake in my pic's...

its a beautiful matellic (spelling..lol) blue..

i got mine in australia, but i am sure some other suppliers of luster dust were you are will have the midnight blue....

I just found some on caljava.com so I ordered away....spent way too much on a lot of pretty dusts!!!! icon_lol.gif
