I have used the Wilton ready-made gumpaste and like it very much. It dries fairly quickly and holds fairly well once dry. I live in a very humid area, and I use a small food dehydrator to help it dry faster. Once dry, I store pieces in airtight containers with a little dessicant in the container until I'm ready to use them. Nicholas Lodge has a recipe on his website that I prefer, but you may not have ready access to the Tylose.
