I'm making red velvet cake balls with cream cheese icing dipped in green candy melts so it's Christmas themed. Do you think this would be good? I don't know if it would be good to dip cake balls in candy melts as opposed to chocolate.

A good brand of green candy melt (Merckens is the only one I use, when I use candy melts) tastes like white chocolate. It is just white chocolate, tinted with green food color that is made for chocolate. It will be fine. Get some red and white sprinkles to give it a little more color outside.
