I have been busy making mini Xmas Cakes for a Cake stall we are having on Friday to raise funds to travel to our yearly conferences. Thanks to all the CC members whose ideas I have used. I thought I had better not put them on the new photos as I didn't want to take it up. What do other members do to raise funds? There are so many things I can make with ideas from here, Cookie Bouquets, Cake Balls now Chocolate Balls but I am running out of time as I think there are such things as housework, cooking for hubby as well as outside interests to do also.
They are awesome! How big are they? I bet they will sell fast!

Thanks all. The round ones are made in a golden syrup tin, or any suitable sized tin and the penquin one is a 9" cake cut in half. I usually make a 10" or 12" square cake and cut them into what sizes I want. They are just great for elderly couples or people on their own as special little gifts.
They are all covered in fondant and the decorations are made from sugarpaste. The boot was made made from sugarpaste too using a mould I bought off the net.
Absolutely beautiful!! If you wouldn't mind sharing a secret...however did you do that stocking??
They are all so lovely.. Your writing on them is amazing.. I find it is so hard to have neat handwriting on a cake.. What is your secret. ![]()
