Where Do I Place The Flower Nails.....

when baking them in a sheet. cake(11x15)? I use cake release and just put the cake batter in the pan. Do I just place the flower nail on the pan and pour in the batter over it?

That is what I do. FYI i also coat the nail with cake release, it makes the clean-up much easier.

Thanks. Also, I have two that I'm going to place in there. Is that too many? Is one plenty? And if I should use both, do I place them in the middle of the pan or towards the ends?

I have only used them in round cakes, but I usually distribute them evenly around the cake rather than just in the middle.
