I didnt know if I should post this here on in the recipe request section.
anyhoo, im looking for a recipe for some healthy and still yummy cookies.
my boyfriend is currently stationed in the middle east- and he loves my choccolate ccookies, but hes trying to get healthy.
says hes tired of his big butt
I still want to send him something yummy in his care package but don't want to be counterproductive to his healthy eating.
do you guys have any reccomendations??
Im definitaly gonna add flax seed flour to any recipe cause its really good for you- lots of omega3
I just need to find a recipe that doesnt have a ton of sugar or butter.
any and all help is appreciated
thanks all
Try dlife.com. Its a website for diabetics. The recipes there have less sugar, sometimes none. The flour can be substituted with part flaxseed, almond, or soy flours. My dad is a diabetic, my brother is hypoglycemic and both are fans of dessert. The recipes there are a big hit with them and they are very picky about there sweets.
If you wanted to make him the chocolate cookies still you could replace the oil with applesauce. It makes it a low-fat cookie that way. You might even replace some of the sugar with splenda. Maybe do a half sugar half splenda mix. HTH.
sweetness, the cookies use butter not oil
can i still use the applesauce instead??
Here I found a link that might be able to help you.
