My DH has just said to me in THAT voice "That must be a really good website." I replied that it was great and carried on reading. Since I registered yesterday I've spent every spare minute on here. Another comment,"You on that d**n computer again...?" I think your warning label needs to be at least a 1/2 page big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha! Ha! Thanx for such a great forum.
Yep, I became addicted pretty quickly too. My hubby used to say the same thing, you're on that website again????? Aren't you tired of being on that site so much, how many cakes can you look it, blah, blah, blah. Well, after a few months he finally got the message that his comments were not going to get me off of the CC and quit yapping. Now he just accepts it and in the morning when I get up he fixes me a cup of coffee and has CC already up on my computer for me. Pretty cool, huh? 
Yes I know the feeling, mine says why are you looking at cakes you are not doing any for a long time (I am retired from work and taking my sick husband (he has Cancer) to see our children interstate going to be away from home for six months hopefully. But quess who has brought me a laptop computor and wireless broadband for the motorhome so I can keep in touch with this site. I send a lot of time on the internet it helps me to switch off.

I was, (AND STILL AM) connected here all the time!! 
That warning should be bigger most of us agree. This seems to be the one place that I can run away to and hide from the real world. There is so much information here. I can't believe how much I learn every single time I hop on here to CC.
Get used to it, the more you sign on, the more you want, NEED to be connected more.

that's what I told him!!! now i catch him watching and reading about cake stuff over my shoulder. It's kinda funny. I think I may have another addict on my hands here.
I got the "how many cakes can you look at " comment, too. The other day he was looking at cars (again), and I said "Oh...hmmm...cars, huh?...again...hmmm...Interesting." I haven't heard anything since.

My DH got so sick of me spending what little bit of free time I have on here that he has blocked the site 2 times now. Yep, the first time I almost killed him. The 2nd time as soon as I noticed it was blocked, I just turned to him and glared-not ever saying a word and he un-blocked it in a snap. Lord help him if he ever tries for attempt #3. 3 strikes and your out---out in the yard with all of your crap that is!
I get it too! He says I ignore him when I am on which is most of the time The oother day he was talking but all I heard was wonk, wonk, wonk. I was just saying uh huh, yeah, okay. My DS walks by and said, "Dad just said he was going into the kithcen to cut his throat and you just said, uh huh, okay!" That was funny! I am trying to shake CC but it's got to be worse than heroin, crack, all of it!

when I joined two years ago dh was giving me the eye all the time.
It is the only place I go on the computer and I'm here whenever a free moment appears. Okay, I do look up silly stuff on youtube....old cartoons, songs from the 80's and bloopers.
Last week he bought me a laptop. Why? Cause he wanted me to have one. I don't even know how to charge the thing. 
He did the nicest thing when he set it up...My homepage is Cake Central and I'm always logged on when I start the computer. He's my sweetie.

My DH refers to this site as my Cake Crack. He says I just can't seem to ever log off. The warning does need to be bigger. LOL. I've learned soo much. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
