Hey all!!

As it says in the title of this post, yours truly is turning 21 in November and I'd like to have a small-scale bash (is that an oxymoron?), so right now I'm trying to find bakeries in my area that can make a cake suitable for my party; I live in New York, Westchester County (not too far from the NYC area). I want a cake that's sophisticated-glam-girlie all rolled in one. So if you know of any bakeries that make really good cakes or if you have one please reply or pm me. I'd really appreciate it. I would bake my birthday cake myself... but I'm not where I'd like to be decorating wise and... I mean it is my birthday, I'll let someone else do the work! icon_smile.gif Thanks for reading!

Wow, can't help with a referral but have great Birthday!! If all else fails - do cake and a nice mousse type icing in margarita glasses - or a cake bar - let your friends construct their own. How fun would that be?

Hi,

I grew up in Westchester!!

Anyway, to anwer your question, the first thing that popped into my mind is Riviera Bakehouse in Ardsley. It is the shop of Kay and Liv Hansen, the authors of Whimsical Bakehouse. Here is the store's website:

Hope yu have a great 21st!

Toni Ann
