Does anyone know of a website or book that has any good information of cake flavor pairing w/, for example, a filling or a type of icing? Or perhaps certain other additives (i.e. pecans)?

I've asked myself that same question before - so basically what I did was to research other decorator's website and check their cake/icing menus. This will give you a better idea on how pairing works together.
