Looking to make a Ten Vols cake, need to find the best orange color. I have some but it seems to be more of a gator orange, but no offense to gator fans! LOL

Try using a little less of the color...it's about the same color, just a different "shade"-does that make sense?

Yeah, I got ya. My hubby is a huge Texas fan so this is gonna be a big upset for him, he hates anything but burnt orange, LOL

Maybe if you add a little yellow to the orange it would take some of the red out and make it look more like Tennessee orange.

Here's another VOL girl! I am making a Vols cake this week, and I used orange and red mixed together. Turned out just right!

Another Vol Fan here!!! We decorated our house for Halloween and hung up Orange lights, but we didn't have the other stuff up yet...so it is UT Fan House right now!!! I think I might just leave it that way!
