I am going to try making snowflakes out of white candy melts and was wondering if you can see the cake sparkles on it or would it just melt right in? Should I use some other sparkles with candy melts? Also, if anyone has any tips or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! icon_biggrin.gif
Thanks!

Hi Flavacakes, had to go look at my Cake Sparkles to see what you were talking about. I don't know if they would melt so much that they wouldn't show any more. Can you just try making a little test on a little dab of candy melt? Janice

Hi Janice! Yeah, I could do a test. I don't even know if it'll work making them with candy melts! I just read that the royal icing snowflakes are sooo fragile and someone suggested trying candy melts.
Thanks for replying! icon_biggrin.gif

If you go to my photos and look at The Cake from He-- the third tier has white chocolate snowflakes. I used silver luster dust on them. You could try the pearlized luster dust to give it a sheen if the sparkles don't work.
