I just did a consult and am suffering from a severe lack of sleep. For some reason, I priced by the number of guest, not actual servings. Any way, the bride wants a four tier round cake. She'll be having 150 guests and wants an anniversary tier. What sizes would be best for all this? icon_eek.gif

This is the design the bride wants: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_859533.html

The best I can come up with is 14", 12", 10", 8" but that's a lot of extra cake. Grrr... I hate feeling so brain dead.

I think if you did 14, 12, 9 and 6, you'd have plenty of cake. That estimate is using the Wilton sizing chart and the serving chart in the WBH book. Good luck! It's been one of those kinds of weeks for me, too!

Allie, I don't know why I couldn't think of that myself. Do you think those tier sizes will look good with the design?

What my brain-dead-self was trying to say was that I priced the cake for her 150 guests, not the actual number of servings the tiers would yield. Am I making any sense yet?
